Kappa Kookout

Kappa Kookout

Kappa Kookout is our spring philanthropy event, benefiting the Nehemiah Center of Navasota. The Nehemiah Center is an after-school program for the children of Navasota. Not only do we raise money for Nehemiah, but Kappas are there daily, providing tutoring and mentoring for the children.

This year, Kappa Kookout was held on March 28th from 5:00-8:00 pm at the Kappa Kappa Gamma house. An $8 ticket included a hamburger, chips, a drink, and a snowcone from Kona Ice. Once people were seated, they listened to a live band, watched the Aggie Wranglers perform, got their faces painted, participated in the raffle, & more. Thanks to everyone who came out, we are still waiting for the final profit to be added together!
